Selector™ to fire up the XK's engine, and the cylindrical cast alloy shift control rises up into the palm of the driver's hand. Automatic transmission functions are then selected by simply turning the control, and with a simple push and turn to move from Drive to Sport mode.
The top-of-the-range Bowers and Wilkins 525W premium sound system with AM/FM radio (or optional DAB), 6 disc in-dash CD changer with MP3 compatibility that offers extraordinary clarity and faithful sound reproduction. Designed and tuned for the XK by Bowers and Wilkins, the surround sound system delivers a powerful and vivid performance.
The Bowers and Wilkins 525W premium sound system has a remote amplifier with DolbyÒ. Pro LogicÒ II sound and 8 speakers. Bowers and Wilkins technology, exclusively used in Jaguar cars, is acclaimed by audiophiles, artists and recording engineers alike. KevlarÒ cones in the larger speakers (the distinctive yellow appearance is discretely visible through the speaker grille) improve linearity of response and reduce distortion, while aluminium domes on the tweeters improve sound reproduction at high frequencies by reducing the weight of the moving part.
