ELECTRIC VEHICLE INCENTIVES

As an all-electric, zero tailpipe emissions car, I-PACE opens up a world of benefits.

I-PACE OWNERSHIP

Matching electric performance with a design that is true to the spirit of Jaguar, I-PACE includes the care, service and support that Jaguar ownership always gives you. And, as a zero tailpipe emissions electric vehicle, I-PACE can offer further advantages including access to incentives and benefits provided by government, local authorities and businesses supporting the move to electric cars.

SELECT MODEL

-

  • Some governments offer direct financial incentives or allow electric drivers to avoid the purchase taxes, such as VAT or GST, charged on petrol and diesel vehicles. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.
  • Excise duties are generally lower for electric cars, and can be zero. In countries where number plates are bought in addition to your car, or obtained in a lottery, electric vehicles can benefit from reduced costs and even avoid the vehicle registration lottery altogether. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.
  • Wall boxes may be obtained at subsidised rates in some countries. Incentives may also be offered to install communal charging facilities in shared residential buildings and at workplaces. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.
  • Electric vehicles can benefit from significantly lower taxation rates than the equivalent petrol or diesel cars offered by company car schemes. There can also be accounting benefits to your employer in relation to writing down the value of the asset. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.
  • Free charging facilities may be available while you are parked at shopping centres, hotels and other venues. This is referred to as destination charging. Others may offer reduced charging fees based on your time spent at the venue. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.
  • Where road use charges exist, it is sometimes the case that electric vehicles are exempt. And, of course, they will not be required to pay any emissions-based charges introduced for petrol or diesel cars for air quality reasons. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.
  • In some cities, electric vehicles are permitted to use high-occupancy vehicle lanes, without passengers, as well as bus lanes. You may also park in places where petrol or diesel vehicles are not permitted or can park at a lower cost. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.

Incentives vary by country and even city, and can change without prior notice. Please consult your local Jaguar Retailer to find out more.

The range depicted is as per Worldwide harmonized Light vehicle Test Procedure (WLTP) and must not be considered as a representation of the actual range which the vehicle may be able to achieve in Indian conditions. Jaguar Land Rover India Limited shall not be held liable for any such express or implied representation. The actual range varies from region to region and is based on a variety of parameters including but not limited to configuration of the vehicle, number of passengers in the vehicle, weather conditions such as but not limited to ambient temperature, humidity, etc., style of driving, traffic, road conditions (including but not limited to changes and fluctuations in inclination, altitude etc.), usage of the features in the vehicle such as but not limited to air conditioning, etc. WLTP (Worldwide harmonised Light vehicle Test Procedure) is the new process that has been phased in from 2017, which measures fuel, energy consumption, range and emissions in passenger vehicles in Europe. This is designed to provide figures closer to real-world driving behaviour. It tests vehicles with optional equipment and with a more demanding test procedure and driving profile.
